As a woman, having my hair done should be hard wired into my brain as a self care experience, right? Wrong. To me; getting my hair done has been terrifying and a personal form of the underworld for years! Did Christy know this going into the appointment? No, because I’m not going to trauma dump on a hair stylist that didn’t even know my name, much less that I existed 24 hours before my appointment was even scheduled. But nonetheless, Christy had a cancellation on a Friday (lucky me)! I stepped into Mane Attraction fully prepared to erect a tombstone that read RIP my hair; it was dry, damaged, and honestly I thought the only way to save it was probably a pixie cut that would take years to grow back out. I showed Christy what I hoped for and let me just say I don’t know what divine being she spoke with when she was mixing that color in the back but it must be a strong one; she walked me through her thought process step by step and I was thinking to myself “okay we’re going to save some of it but it’ll still probably be dry and need some more cuts to make a comeback,” a few hours later though the angelic presence she erected in that back room showed up with every second the hair dryer was on and what it revealed was luscious, healthy hair with style, depth and dimension that allowed a whole new and renewed woman to step out of that salon on my way to get milk in preparation for snowmaggedon. I say all of that to say 10/10 highly recommend this salon. If I could give it a Grammy I would!
Clair was top notch. She was kind and knowledgeable. She did exactly what I requested and offered pro tips for curly hair. She also offered a product for me. Her shampoo and scalp massage was AMAZING! The conversation was good! I will definitely recommend her and be back!
Lisa always does a great haircut! She has lots of experience and can work with troublesome hair like mine. Priscilla pampers with a luxurious shampooing experience. And Teresa is my favorite nail technician in all of Winchester. Very careful with trimming and fun to talk to.

I had the BEST experience at Mane Attraction Salon and Wellness. My husband and I found ourselves child free for the first time in a blue moon and decided to book last minute hair cuts for ourselves. Mane Attraction Salon and Wellness was able to fit both of us in same day, which I feel like is very rare. I came in very indecisive with what I wanted to do with my hair. Claire was able to make sense of my different ideas and was able to come up with a plan for my hair that I was happy with. The end result was beyond what I had hoped for! I can honestly say it has been my favorite hair cut in years. Claire went above and beyond to make my hair dreams come true and used her expansive knowledge to guide me towards a cut that worked for me. I look forward to booking more appointments and exploring more hair ideas with Claire in the near future.

After over a decade of avoiding salons and cutting my own hair instead. (Bad haircut trauma iykyk). I got on here to book an appointment. I saw Lisa was the highest ranking and she also had very long blonde hair like me. I had a feeling she'd be a great choice. But once I got there, I knew I was in the best hands. She really talked me through. Before grabbing the scissors we had a conversation. A good lengthy rundown. Asking me questions. We went over every section of my hair and carefully curated what I wanted. And then got started. I've never had such an amazing experience at a hair salon before. She is so full of knowledge. Down to the science of things. And I left there extremely happy. Lisa KNOWS what she's doing. She is a seasoned professional! I'm so happy I booked with her!
